SuperComputing 2010 – New Orleans

We have been away for a bit on the blog posts but wanted to get back to it with a recap of our last project we just finished up in New Orleans.

SuperComputing 2010 or SC10 as it is known, just wrapped up and we were there in support of our client, Voltaire. This year’s booth was a 20′ x 30′ island space located on the main aisle in a great floor location. We wanted to take advantage of the great location to highlight the various products and services for easy attendee viewing. We did have a challenge with two support poles of the Ernest Morial


Convention Center behind the booth, but it was not a major hurdle for us. With such a great booth space, we wanted to be sure company branding was visible from all angles and distances so we utilized the 16 foot hanging sign to bring the Voltaire logo forward.

This booth was designed to incorporate the client needs and wants. With a conference room designed to utilize existing fabric graphics, to the large tower with additional branding opportunity, the multi purpose theater, and the demo stations, this custom rental booth was flexible for their needs. Elements were used and positioned to help direct the flow of traffic into and through the booth as well.

One area of interest in the booth was the theater which doubled as a game show stage during the show hours. Instead of using large, heavy and bulky print graphics, we decided to produce tension fabric that would wrap around the entire storage room. This helped cut down on costs in multiple areas and it was a clean, uniform look and feel.


The other element we added was the use of remote controlled LED lighting that transitioned through different colors in addition to specialized game show buzzers.
